Barndoors & Gobos

Barndoors &gobos are usually rectangle in shape and attached to lighting fixtures to reflect light certain ways to give the photographer the perfect lighting to take the picture he desires. Barn doors are attached to the lighting and lets different angles hit the subject which is really helpful especially if your outside and here is why. As the sun moves through the sky and light is omitted you may have to change the lighting that you use and barndoors & gobos are the way people do this. Without these you could possibly have to keep moving the subject around or your lighting to accomplish what barndoors & gobos can in alot less time. Many times barndoors and & gobos are not used as often as they should be. one of the main reasons is people are not use to using them as much as they should. Barndoors & gobos is something many people don't understand how they work so they just don't mess with them. Veteran photographers understand that and use them often with some outstanding results. Lighting is crucial to any picture and if you have to much light as a photographer you must have waits to limit it or angle it where you want it to go and that is where barndoors & gobos come in and do their role.

Lighting is something that can change a picture very quickly and a photographer needs something that will help correct that problem. Barn doors and gobos are a good solution to that problem. Probably the best things about barndoors and gobos is the ability of you to use them at angles which makes it's easier to reflect light where you want it to go. Since they attached to light equipment you can almost send that light at any angle you wish. No matter where your subject is the proper lighting can almost always be had if you use these two inventions called barn doors and gobos. Now not everyone though uses them and they struggle to make it as fixing lighting problems can be some of the toughest problems to fix. Many times their isn't any easy answers and it just takes trial and error to get the right light you need on your subjects. Photographers are in a business of looks and if the picture doesn't look right he knows he won't be in business for long.
